Terms & clinic policy

The practical arrangements around appointments, payment and this website.

Appointments

Appointments are booked by email to annie@elements-acupuncture.co.uk, through clinic reception, or — for Norwich — online. Your first appointment is the initial consultation and treatment (90 mins), which includes a full medical history, physical examination, pulse and tongue diagnosis and treatment.

Changing or cancelling

If you need to move or cancel an appointment, please let Annie or the clinic reception know as early as you can so that the time can be offered to someone else. Contact details for both clinics are on the clinics page.

Fees and payment

  • Initial Consultation and treatment — 90 mins, £90 (Wymondham and Norwich).
  • Private Follow up treatment — 60 mins, £60 (Wymondham and Norwich).
  • Community Affordable Acupuncture / Multi-Bed treatment — 75 mins, £42 (Treat-Norwich).

Prices shown on this site are current at the time of publication. Payment is taken at the clinic at the time of your appointment.

Your treatment

Acupuncture is provided by Annie Astbury, a licensed traditional acupuncturist and member of the Association of Acupuncture Clinicians (AAC), working to its Codes of Professional Conduct and Safe Clinical Practice. Treatment is given with your informed consent, and you may stop at any point.

Please tell Annie before treatment if you are pregnant, taking anticoagulant medication, have a pacemaker or implanted device, a bleeding disorder, or any infection or skin condition at the site to be treated. Cupping leaves temporary marking on the skin.

Medical advice

Acupuncture complements, and does not replace, care from your GP or hospital team. Nothing on this website is a diagnosis or a promise of a particular outcome, and you should not stop or change prescribed medication without speaking to the clinician who prescribed it. If your symptoms are severe, sudden or worsening, contact your GP, NHS 111, or emergency services.

This website

The content here is provided for information only and is kept as accurate as possible, but no guarantee is given that it is complete or up to date. Links to other organisations are provided for convenience and their content is their own responsibility. The website assistant

The question box answers only from the facts published on this website. It cannot give medical advice, assess your symptoms or confirm an appointment, and its answers do not form part of any agreement. For anything about your own health, please email Annie.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
